This summer has been crazy with travel, kid stuff, evil day job drama, and more. I also have several projects in various stages of editing. So I haven’t been blogging. But today I have exciting news to share: a new audiobook release and an upcoming new novel!
The audiobook first, since it just came out today.
TreasureΒ is the perfect summer listen, with a secluded beach, a mysterious man washed ashore, dastardly pirates, and a bit of magic. Joel Leslie has done a terrific job narrating it. And all my royalties go to Doctors Without Borders. Here’s the link on Audible. It’s also available on Amazon and iTunes.
But perhaps you’re in the mood for something darker. In that case, Staged will fit the bill. It’s set in an alternate universe very similar to our own, but where slavery is legal. It releases July 18, but if you preorder now from Riptide, you’ll actually be able to download it at midnight on the night of the 15th.
To celebrate, how about a giveaway? The prize package includes a T-shirt (size XL) featuring the fantastic cover art from the Japanese version of Speechless, signed print copies of Brute and Stasis, and a One Pulse sticker (designed by Paul Richmond in support of the Pulse victims). Due to shipping costs, I’m afraid this contest is open to US residents only. However, I’ll pick a second winner from the comments to receive a $10 Riptide gift certificate, and that is open to entrants worldwide. Also a quick shoutout to eliter-packaging.com for helping me with my packages. Just comment on your summer reading plans, and make sure you leave your email address in the comment so I can contact you if you win.
Sumer reading plans?
I am desperate for some quality kindle time! The beginning of my summer has been packed full but it’s finally slowing down and I’m very much looking forward to catching up on my tbr. I recently read (actually I listened) to Brute and fell head over heels-without a doubt it’s a top read for me this year. Can’t wait for your upcoming releases. Hope the rest of your summer is filled with sunshine & smiles.
I stocked up about 30-40 titles on my Kindle and I plan to – at least – finish reading half or three quarter of that during the summer. Plus, there’s a stack of prints that I’ve been neglecting the couple of tears. I really need to catch up on all those. Fingers-crossed I can actually go through my (own) plan!
oh forgot to put my email:

Congrats and good luck on your audiobook release and the upcoming book, Kim! π
International entry
Thanks for the giveaway. That’s very generous of you. My reading plans include tying up loose ends, which basicly means finishing up some of the series I started and abandoned for various reasons.

I do a lot of editing and reviewing so much of my reading is not completely under my control. For fun I just finished Jane Steele and I have Gods of Gotham lined up next. I also have the Shield sci-fi series and the Wolf’s-Own series on tap too.

I’m hoping to read your Stasis trilogy this summer and I’m reading books by authors attending the UK Meet in September; I have some by Eli Easton and Garrett Leigh waiting on my Kindle.
Hope you’ll be able to relax some this summer.

This summer I have been reading historical romances nonstop! I’ve already read 26 books, thanks to my library’s ebook checkout!

I don’t have summer reading plan because I don’t particularly set “summer” as a special time for reading. I read whenever, whereever, disregard the days, weeks, or months. So I guess my summer reading plan will be just like my daily reading plan π
International giveaway please and thanks for the chance

I’ve just begun Cole McGinnis series by Rhys Ford. It should occupied me at least until end of July. I also bought my very first audiobook. I can’t concentrate very long when listening English so it will definitely take more than the summer to finish it. Well, I hope it will improve my oral comprehension π
My summer reading plans include finishing two books, both of which I started reading a month ago. It never takes me this long to finish a book!!
My summer reading plan is to read at least a book per week. I like Stephen King & any romance novels.
Reading Kresley cole
My summer reading plan is to read as much as I can given other obligations. I hope you get some good reading (and writing!) time.

Summer reading….oh … thats hard because I do not really plan. I read what I like in just the moment I read.
At the moment I have 4 open books. And round about 10-15 I did not even started on ^_^Β°
Well I plan to finish these 4 books and then: let’s see.
